About the Beacon Parish

BeaconChurches.jpg

The Beacon Parish was created in 2007 following the merger of the Parish of Ditchling with Streat & Westmeston.  It is named after Ditchling Beacon which is close to the boundary between the two former parishes.

The Beacon Parish is part of the Hurst Deanery in the Diocese of Chichester, one of 42 Dioceses in the Church of England.

Fr David Wallis is the Vicar of the three churches of the Beacon Parish.  At the end of June 2015 Mthr Nicol Kinrade joined the Beacon Parish as Assistant Curate.

For more information on the three churches please see About our Churches.
