St Margaret's Bellringers

St Margaret’s Church bells are rung every Sunday from 9.15am to 9.45am before the morning service as well as for weddings and on other occasions.  The bells of St Margaret’s date back to the 18th century.  Records show that in 1766 there were five bells, three of these were recast and another added in 1885 and a two more bells were given by the Vicar in 1914.

Practice evening is Tuesday between 8pm and 9.15pm when visitors and new ringers are very welcome.  The entrance to the ringing chamber is at the north side of the church and if you would like to come along contact me on 01273 845383 or for more information email:  djcragg@lineone.net.
