Armistice Day - We Will Remember Them

Today we remember all those who died in the two world wars and all conflicts since, with a two minute silence held at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month; the time in 1918 when the guns fell silent along the western front in Europe.

At the cenotaph Fr David Wallis..

Ringing the changes and saying 'thank you'.

Ringing the changes (as well as the Christmas bells)

At the October PCC meeting it was agreed that rather than seeking a new editor for the Beacon magazine we would move to a fortnightly e-bulletin and also look at forms of social media that can support our mission. A group of us had been deliberating on this matter for several months prior to bringing this proposal to the PCC, reflecting on the very substantial achievements we have made to date in communicating with visitors and congregations alike via the magazine and website, and..

Ditchling C of E Primary School's Harvest Festival Service

Ditchling C of E Primary School's Harvest Festival Service
The children did a brilliant job today.
It was a real joy to see them there.
They produced drawings of food as an
offering
and for the service sheet front cover.
They also wrote their own prayers, did a
dramatised reading of the feeding of the
5,000 and
sang the hymns beautifully.
