Christmas Card Competition 2014

The Christmas card competition was open to adults as well as children of Ditchling (St Margaret's) CE Primary School.  22 entries are shown, the winner was Emma James and Ian Berrill was runner up.  The winning entry has been distributed to all houses in the parish on the front of the Beacon Parish Christmas card.  Ian's appeared on the front cover of the December issue of The Beacon magazine.

St Martin’s Flower Festival ‘Wedding Anniversaries’

St Martinâs Flower Festival âWedding Anniversariesâ

The Flower Festival 'Wedding Anniversaries' was held in St Martin's Church, Westmeston on the 16th and 17th August 2014.  All the arrangements were carried out by members of the congregation and the flower festival was made possible by donations from generous parishioners. The slideshow comprises a selection of photos taken by Doreen Kallman and Paul Charman.

Plant & Produce Village Market

Plant & Produce Village Market

St Margaret's Plant & Produce Village Market was held, on a fine day, in Church Lane on 17 May 2014.  Stallholders were selling plants, cakes, homemade jams & pickles, eggs adn other local produce. Tea, coffee and cakes were also available.  The Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft and the Ditchling History Project also had their own stalls.

The Duchess of Cornwall visits Ditchling

The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Ditchling Museum of Art & Craft on Wednesday 26th March 2014.  The Noah's Ark Parent and Toddlers Group were there to meet her, together with other children and adults on Ditchling Green.  The Duchess took time to greet the children as she left to visit other parts of East Sussex.
